Tulleys Tulip Garden Warwickshire: A Complete Visitor’s Guide for 2025

Discover the vibrant Tulleys Tulip Garden in Hatton, Warwickshire – open for spring 2025. Over 500,000 tulips, family-friendly facilities and perfect photo opportunities.

There’s something really joyful about standing in the middle of a tulip field, surrounded by rows up rows of vibrant colour fanning out in all directions. I watch as children frolic through the flowers, families and friends strike poses for photos in the blooms and a windmill slowly turns as people pose for photos on a bike learning against it. This weekend, I discovered one of the UK’s most photogenic spring destinations – Tulleys Tulip Garden in Hatton, Warwickshire – and it was honestly a lot better than I imagined it would be.

If you’re looking for a family-friendly day out in Warwickshire, a spot for some colourful flower photography or just somewhere to soak up the fresh air and spring sunshine, Tulleys Tulip Garden is one of the most charming seasonal attractions in the UK.

What is Tulleys Tulip Garden?

Tulleys Tulip Garden is a pop-up seasonal experience located in several places in the UK, but I visited the location in Hatton, Warwickshire. It aims to bring the beauty and fun of Dutch-style tulip fields right to the heart of the English countryside. It’s only open only for a few weeks each spring, but this blooming paradise features over half a million tulips blooming in a kaleidoscope of colours.

From bright reds and sunny yellows to deep purples and pastel pinks, the garden is a fantastic setting for flower lovers and photographers. It’s also a great place to take the kids – there’s wide open spaces and loads of room to roam and run about, plus food and drink options and toilets, so it’s a safe and enjoyable family day out in the West Midlands.

While April is the best time to visit Tulleys Tulip Garden in Warwickshire, there’s still time to book tickets for the 2025 season as the Tulip Garden tickets are on sale until early May.

What to expect: My day at the Tulip Garden

As someone who’s always on the lookout for interesting travel destinations in the UK, I was a little unsure about Tulleys, as I was sure it would be overtly commercial and possibly even underwhelming – I mean, who can trust the unreliable British weather when it comes to any kind of harvest. However, I’m happy to say that my worries were unfounded.

The site was very well organised, with plenty of parking and helpful staff. Once inside, there is a selection of food and drink vendors, fire pits for toasting marshmallows on, a coffee shop and a gift shop. The sheer scale and colour of the tulip fields was fantastic – I even heard someone walk in and say ‘Wow’ as they took in the fields.

I spent a couple of hours slowly walking through the rows, camera in hand, capturing all the colours and shapes of these stunning spring blooms – do check out my YouTube video from the fields to see more for yourself.

The atmosphere was calm and relaxed – no rush, no pressure, just people enjoying the simple pleasure of being outdoors and being surrounded by nature. The paths through the fields are easy to walk, and I saw lots of families with pushchairs, wheel chair users, older visitors and people there for just a casual stroll.

There are some rules, such as no picking of the flowers (you can, of course, buy them from the gift shop) and no jumping between rows, and security staff walk around and monitor bad behaviour.

If you’re into travel photography or videography, you’ll really enjoy this place. The natural light, installations and endless lines of flowers and open skies create the perfect setting for both video and still shots, though be aware that there are a lot of people walking about so you have to be quick if you find a shot you’re interested in taking (or an installation you want to pose against).

Facilities and amenities

Tulleys Tulip Garden feels well thought-out and designed to make your visit smooth and comfortable. Here’s what’s available on site:

  • Free parking close to the entrance
  • Toilets

  • A gift shop (with tulips available to purchase)
  • Seating areas where you can relax and take in the views
  • And, of course, plenty of space for photos and picnics

Whether you’re spending a full day in the fields or just popping in for a quick visit, it’s an easy and really enjoyable experience.
